This thing took me forever, so it's a good thing I like it. I had to do a lot from memory since I only had the window and trash can done before I went home.
Anyway... this is my old dorm room... my little corner of space surrounded by wires, ha ha. Loved what little space I had.
Sketch on paper + 1000 hours in photoshop = this picture
Minor Edit: Adjusted the saturation and brightness.
You know how I feel about this one, you took so much time on this and it shows, like a freakin' ink stain on a white dress! This is such an awesome piece for many reasons: 1) not many people take the time to draw scenes this descriptive as practice *cough cough* LIKE ME *cough cough* 2) the amount of detail done shows that your not some lazy son-of-a-bitch who doesn't feel like taking the time to actually finish a piece all the way 3) that trash can is hot 4) those feet must have been hard because they look so real it's scary *poke* 5) those jeans look real too, they actually turned out really well and I don't know what brush you used, but you have to tell me next time we have a drawing session 6) the wood looks amazing because you weren't some pussy who had to use a pattern, you actually created that by hand (along with every other detail you went about) which deserves even more credit 7) YOU'RE NOT EVEN AN ART MAJOR AND YOU STILL KICK ALL SORTS OF ASS IN THE ART FIELD!!!! 8) What's not to like? it's awesome!! 9) even though this must have been a bitch to do, it sure as hell means something if you're willing to take the time to put forth the effort 10) you get an A+

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
